Master Plant Diet Retreat

This 15 day retreat combines ayahuasca (the medicine) with one of 35 indigenous plants from the peruvian amazon. This combination tends to make the medicine feel stronger and many teachings come to participants through strong dreams and in ceremonies.By drinking this plant we absorb its energy and increase certain characteristics within ourself. For instance, to increase flexibility of body and mind we give Bobinasa. Bobinsana grows by the river and bends as the river changes shape and form. Some other charectaristics may be connecting to your lineage, your roots through ajo sacha or renaco for spiritual protection and removal of pain in the physical body.

This retreat is done in silence for 10 days and every participant is on a restricted diet of no sugar, no fruit, no drugs, no alchohol, no stimulants, no spices (including onion and garlic), no sex (including masterbation), limited fats and no salt. There is also a strict 30 day post dieta for every participant. This is done to remove all external stimulation in order to take a profound look within. There is also no electricity or light on the property so the body learns to wake up and sleep with the natural rhythms of nature.  

It includes 4 ayahuasca ceremonies done as a ritual with the support of 2 or more facilitators, 3 diet specific meal each day (except on ceremony days - 2 meals), your private bunglaow with bathroom, transportion to and from the center from Tarapoto airport or a hotel within Tarapoto city. 

Katari center is beautiful and filled with wildlife. We have a small river that runs through the center with clean water to bathe. Each bungalow is also eqquiped with its own personal bathroom and shower. The bungalows are simple to stay true to the way these types of diets have been practied for hundreds of years but also to provide some extra comfort for the modern man and woman.

You are given a master plant which you will drink daily to open different aspects of your being. It could be for cleansing, releasing anger, stabilizing emotions, strength, flexibility, etc. it depends on your history and what you want to work on. Master plants dieta is for people very serious about working within because the plants alone will have a strong effect and the other medicines will be intensified.

7 days includes: master plants, dieta specific food, accommodation at Katari Center, aya ceremonies, and one on one guidance by the shaman through your personal process
