Service Description

The Master Plant Diet is a combination of ayahuasca and daily drinking of one of 35 indigenous plants, called the teacher plants, from Peru. One plant is selected per person and you will spend retreat working only with this particular plant and ayahuasca in order to fully connect with the plant and absorb the teachings of the plant "spirit" into your being. By drinking the plant that is chosen for you, you will absorb its energy and increase certain characteristics within yourself. For instance, to increase flexibility of body and mind we give Bobinasa. Bobinsana grows by the river and bends as the river changes shape and form. Some other charectaristics may be connecting to your lineage, your ancestors or your roots through ajo sacha or renaco for spiritual protection and removal of pain in the physical body. This retreat is done in silence for 10 days and every participant is on a restricted diet of no sugar, no fruit, no drugs, no alchohol, no stimulants, no spices (including onion and garlic), no sex (including masterbation), limited fats and no salt. There is also a strict 30 day post dieta for every participant. This is done to remove all external stimulation in order to take a profound look within. Your body will learn to wake up and sleep with the natural rhythms of nature and you will start to feel the energies of your environment in a more profound way. The plant teachers give many insights and every experience is individual. You will leave feeling transformed and inspired. You will stay in a beautiful, simple private bungalow made of organic materials with a private bathroom and shower. Please note there is no electricity or internet on the property and to charge electronics we have limited solar energy. The bungalows are simple and authentic to how these types of retreats have been performed for hundreds of years while giving a few extra comforts for the modern participant. Katari center is beautiful and filled with wildlife. We have a small river that runs through the center with clean water to bathe. Each bungalow is also eqquiped with its own personal bathroom and shower. The bungalows are simple to stay true to the way these types of diets have been practied for hundreds of years but also to provide some extra comfort for the modern man and woman.
